Surface Treated Calcite


A filler cannot be used to the best of advantages in polymer unless there is a good adhesion between them. In particular, the filler particle / polymer interface will not be stress bearing and therefore provides a point of mechanical weakness.

Calcium Stearate / Stearic acid surface is produced by chemical reaction with calcium carbonate substrate – ( MICRO COATING PROCESS ), hence the surface of the particles get desired qualities. Thus it is not a physical coating or a mixture and therefore will neither wash off in processing nor segregate during process.
